This mineral agricultural corrective, made from calcium carbonate, allows an effective correction of the soil pH, when it is excessively acidic. Calcium is an essential macronutrient for good crop development.

Calcium Carbonate, also known as calcite, is a chemically inert inorganic mineral with alkaline characteristics that results from the reaction of calcium oxide with carbon dioxide. In nature, Calcium Carbonate can be found in minerals, in its crystalline form: aragonite, which has an orthorhombic form; and calcite, which has a rhombohedral or trigonal shape
